Discount

Discount is a price reduction from the marked price of an article. Marked Price is the price marked on every article. So if there is some discount given on an article, the customer will pay S.P after reducing the discount from the marked price of the article.

Following are the formulas of Discount


$1.S.P=M.P-Discount $

$2.Discount \%=\frac{Discount}{M.P}\times 100 $

$3.S.P=M.P(\frac{100-Discount \%}{100}) $

$4.Discount\%=(\frac{M.P-S.P}{M.P})\times 100 $

Value Added Tax

A tax on the marked price of an article by which the price of the article increases.

Following are the formulas of Discount


1. S.P of an article = Marked Price + VAT

$2.VAT=\frac{VAT\%}{100}\times Marked Price $
